" ...His (Edward's) business experience in the private sector, coupled with his leadership in his community makes him the ideal citizen-legislator the 19th Congressional District in Florida needs to represent it in Congress." - S.E. Edward Lynch Prevails In Special Election Republican Primary, Sets Sights On Victory In April 13th Special General Election
Boca Raton, FL, February 2nd, 2010- Edward Lynch declared victory in the Special Republican Primary Election in Florida's 19th Congressional District this evening, as he offered congratulations to both of his opponents on a close and hard fought primary race. "Now is the time for unity as a Party as we advance our agenda, our principles, and our ideas that we believe are essential for restoring individual liberty and fiscal responsibility back to our federal government," said Edward Lynch, Republican candidate for Congress in Florida's 19th Congressional District.
The forthcoming Special Election to be held on April 13th for the vacated Congressional seat is not about the candidates so much as it is about two very different governing philosophies as to what the proper role of the federal government should be. The elections held throughout the country in 2009 and 2010 have in effect been a referendum on the federal government's proposed takeover of the health insurance system, and Americans have resoundingly told our elected officials in Washington D.C. that they do not want any further federal government encroachment into healthcare.
"The voters of Congressional District 19 will have a clear choice in the Special Election- a choice between a committed taxpayer's advocate who believes in limited government, cutting wasteful congressional perks, and enacting real healthcare reform that respects patient's rights; and the Democratic establishment's candidate- a candidate who falls squarely in line with the Obama agenda, still supporting a government takeover of the health insurance industry, and seemingly clueless about under what circumstances job creation will actually take place in the private sector in South Florida. We shall see just how supportive the voters of District 19 are of reckless, big-government policies that restrict patient choice, harm small businesses, and stifle job creation,"
"Limited government has made America the freest and most prosperous nation in all of human history, but there are far too many in our political class who are insisting that we must abandon that philosophy and our Constitution. I will never abandon the principles and ideas that have made America great, and I will make our case without apology to the voters of Congressional District 19," said Lynch.

|
West Palm Beach, FL, January 27, 2010- The Edward Lynch for Congress Campaign is pleased to announce that Edward has obtained endorsements from the West Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, the American Staffing Association, and the Republican Majority Campaign Political Action Committee.
"Our endorsement cannot go to a better man. He has worked extremely hard to make sure that the people of the 19th district know that he will fight and do what is right for them in Washington DC. Ed is a great man of character and I am proud to say we fully support his candidacy for the 19th Congressional District." said Daniel P. Diaz, Florida Project Director of the Republican Majority Campaign Political Action Committee.
"I continue to be humbled by the latest endorsements and support our campaign has obtained from the West Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce and the American Staffing Association. These organizations understand that South Florida's rising unemployment rate must be effectively confronted, and their members understand as well as anyone the conditions necessary for job creation to take place. Our campaign has laid out a detailed plan to help spur private sector job creation immediately, and these organizations have responded positively to our message. I am honored by the support of all three of these organizations, and I will continue to strive to be deserving of their endorsements as I tirelessly work towards the most important endorsement- the voters of Congressional District 19," said Edward Lynch, candidate for Congress in Florida's 19th Congressional District. |

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
West Palm Beach, FL - During the course of a campaign many rumors and comments are heard and repeated much like a game of telephone in a middle school classroom. To that end Mr. Lynch would like to clarify the employment of Mr. Michael Solomon. Mr. Solomon joined the Edward Lynch for Congress Campaign for several months as a consultant during 2008. "I apologize to Mr. Solomon and would like to set the record straight. Mr. Solomon left the campaign on his own accord under no pressure or direction from myself, I apologize if I have defamed his character in anyway, I wish him the best of luck to him in his future endeavors. No individual public or private deserves to have his personal life or family brought into the mudslinging the occurs in politics everyday. The future of our country depends on leaders that understand the issues at hand refusing to play politics as usual".

Edward Lynch Comments on Recent Palm Beach Post Article
West Palm Beach, FL January 12, 2010 - A recent article in the Palm Beach Post, ("GOP Hpeful Jabs at Rival by Revealing Money Issues") reported several rehashed allegations of financial dealings that occurred during the normal course of business with one of Edward Lynch's companies, DeLeon Industries.
What the Post article fails to distinguish for the benefit of its readers is that there is an enormous difference between a business that fails because of the fault of the owner and when the federal government intentionally reneged on its financial obligations to DeLeon Industries. This is nothing more than politics as usual, and the person who brought this to the attention of the press, for the second time, is ignorant of the fact that his needless mudslinging only serves to further divide the Republican electorate.
"This election is too important to our nation and the future of our children to play politics as usual", said Lynch.
"Our federal government will bail out big businesses calling them "too big to fail", however small business, which is the backbone of the American economy, endures endless bureaucracy and red tape."
"I understand what small business goes through when dealing with the government, and that is one of the reasons I am running for Congress. The federal government has delayed payment to my company for several years because I refused to sit idly by and watch the V. A. Medical Center in Miami and its' corrupt administration put our veterans' health at risk while wasting taxpayer money."
"I had to pay several hundred thousand dollars to sub-contractors and suppliers, acting as a bank for the federal government, while placing my company under significant financial hardship to keep small businesses afloat. While I have pursued a claim that we filed against the government in July, 2007, I have allowed those owed monies on these projects to place liens and file judgments to protect their rights since the federal government does not allow businesses to place liens on federal property."
"I have paid a personal and financial price for fighting for the rights of our veterans. If the V. A. Medical Center in Miami is the best that we have to offer our veterans, that is not acceptable to me and I will continue to fight on their behalf until there is no more corruption, no more waste and our veterans get the facility that they deserve." |

The Date Of The Forthcoming Congressional Special General Election In District 19 Has Been Changed To Tuesday, April 13th, 2010
The Edward Lynch for Congress Campaign wants to alert all interested parties that the date of the Special General Election for the District 19 Congressional seat has been changed from April 6th to April 13th, 2010. The campaign first raised awareness of the conflict between the original scheduled date of the Special General Election with the final day of Passover, and brought the matter to the attention of the Division of Elections in Tallahassee. The campaign subsequently coordinated with other individuals and groups such as talk-radio host Joyce Kaufmann and Shalom International to bring the matter to the public's attention. After consulting with Governor Charlie Crist about the matter at the Broward Republican Executive Committee on Monday, the Governor has now changed the date of the Special General Election.
"I would like to thank Governor Crist for his responsiveness as to this matter. After meeting with him on Monday, I raised this issue with him, and he responded quickly to our concerns. We believe as a matter of principle that elections should not take place on the date of an important religious observance, and we thank Governor Crist for recognizing the conflict and rescheduling the date of this Special General Election," said Edward Lynch, candidate for Congress in the 19th Congressional District.

Edward Lynch Announces An Impressive List of Endorsements Including Retired Senior Military Officials, National Political Commentators, and Local Elected Officials
West Palm Beach, FL, November 24, 2009- The Edward Lynch for Congress Campaign is pleased to announce that Edward has obtained both the support and endorsement of an impressive array of individuals for his campaign for Congress including retired senior military officials, local elected officials, and national political commentators. Retired senior military officials, including Major General Paul E. Vallely, U.S. Army (Retired), Brig. Gen. Jim Cash, USAF, (Retired) have both endorsed Edward because of his understanding of the critical security issues that our country faces, as well as his personal service and commitment to our nation's veterans.
Edward has also received the endorsement of local elected officials within District 19, including Vice Mayor Vincent M. Boccard and Commissioner Tom Powers, both from the City of Coral Springs; and Mayor Jerry Taylor of the City of Boynton Beach. In addition, syndicated columnist and author S.E. Cupp recently opined that she is "very impressed with Edward's commitment to the conservative principles of fiscal discipline, smaller government, and lower taxes."
"I am truly humbled by the support I have garnered from accomplished and influential individuals that have achieved the top of their respective professions. I understand the role that endorsements play in a political campaign, and I understand that voters do not want to be told who to vote for. I am honored by the support of all of these individuals, and I will strive to be deserving of their endorsements as I tirelessly work towards the most important endorsement- the voters of Congressional District 19," said Edward Lynch.

Edward Lynch Petitions Governor's Office To Change Date Of Special General Election Due To Conflict With Passover
West Palm Beach, Florida, November 9, 2009- Edward Lynch has contacted the office of Governor Charlie Crist to request a change of date for the forthcoming Special General Election in Florida's 19th Congressional District, previously scheduled for April 6th, 2010. April 6th is the last day of Passover, and religiously observant Jews recognize the last day of Passover as a holy day of prayer in expectation of the final redemption, and not an appropriate date for participating in elections. "Very simply, we believe that special elections should never be held in conflict with any religious observance, and this election needs to be rescheduled as soon as possible," said Lynch.

Candidate For Congress Edward Lynch's Statement On The Resignation Of Congressman Robert Wexler
West Palm Beach, FL, October 14, 2009- For all practical purposes, Robert Wexler quit representing his constituents and stopped carrying out the real responsibilities of a Congressman long before his resignation. Robert Wexler never carried himself like an authentic leader within the District he was given the privilege to represent. He was not a resident of the state of Florida, and his cameo appearances in the District were few and far between. His candor, accessibility, and openness to his constituents was also virtually non-existent, as he very rarely participated in a media event or press conference that was publicized in advance, not heavily scripted, or without handpicked supporters.

Candidate Edward Lynch Criticizes Congressman Robert Wexler's Arrogance And Constitutional Ignorance, Says His Vote On ACORN Is Hypocritical
West Palm Beach, FL, September 18, 2009 - True to form, Congressman Robert Wexler wants it both ways about ACORN's apparent criminal activity. Perhaps even more pathetically, Congressman Wexler's absurd rationalization for his vote reeks of hypocrisy, and it also proves his own ignorance about the Constitution . Yesterday, Congressman Wexler was one of only 75 Democrats who voted to continue public funding of ACORN, even after undercover footage showed ACORN employees offering advice on how to set up a brothel, instructing people on how to launder money, encouraging people to lie in order to obtain a mortgage, and most deplorable of all- covering up and encouraging the trafficking of underage children for prostitution.

Calling Dr. Kevorkian: Wexler's Uncritical Support of ObamaCare Is Unconscionable And Harmful To Seniors, Says Edward Lynch
West Palm Beach, FL, July 27, 2009 - Congressman Robert Wexler's uncritical support of "Obama Care" or a "single payer" healthcare system is more than a dereliction of his duty and a disservice to his senior constituents that reside within District 19. The proposed bill if passed will mean prolonged pain and suffering for seniors whose care will be rationed and dictated by government bureaucrats.
